Glad to hear that's sorted. I installed the update and had a momentary panic when I tried using the camera only to discover that my f-stop displayed as 'F00' and that I couldn't change it; turning the camera off and on didn't help. Removing the lens and replacing it fixed it.

Now I just have to figure out how to spend the hundreds of dollars I saved not having to send it out for repairs.

Yes I did. Funnily enough I've never had a problem with previous updates when I didn't bother removing the lens first (even though it's recommended.)

Yeah, I've never seen the issue you describe either.
