R6 Mark II startup time

Hi guys,

Does anyone else notice that their R6 MII has a noticeable startup time (from flicking the switch to being able to take the first shot).

I don't have precise measurements but this is what I'm getting

Cold startup (battery removal + off->on): 5.05 seconds

Warm startup (turned off recently +  off -> on): 2.75 seconds

Standby mode feels no different from warm startup

In comparison the EOS RP has about 1.33 seconds warm startup time

I found that the startup time is noticeably longer compared to the EOS RP and it did lead me to ensuring the camera didn't timeout to standby mode when I was using the R6 MkII during my vacation.

I'm currently reading through the official Canon Manual and I don't see how any of my settings are slowing down the startup time.

Is this to be expected from the R6 MII since the IBIS system needs time to power up too? Or is there a configuration issue on mine? Would love to hear if your experiences are similar to mine!

Thanks all in advance!
