Does “Color Science” even matter?

That’s the understanding I’ve always had. A brand’s “color science” is really only relevant to SOOC jpegs. As I only use RAW, it doesn’t really matter to me (nor do the myriad jpeg settings in Fuji X/GFX bodies).

More relevant is how your raw processing tool (LR, C1, etc) interprets the data in the RAW file and where it sets the “zero” point for the various sliders.

thanks for the video link. Speaking of Phase One, hows their color science?  I don’t hear anyone talk about their CS?
