So it is a new year and there is not even an official whisper of an XPRO-4 from Fuji.

Actually no recent rumors about new Fuji cameras at all!

I have been using an XT-5 exclusively while my XPRO-2 is being repaired (I slipped on an Ice and came down hard with the camera in my hand.. it still works but the OVF isn't showing info and frame bright-lines). I skipped the XPRO-3 as I don't care for the flip-out screen, and is missing OVF features on the earlier XPRO-1 and XPRO-2.

Using the XT-5 exclusively I find there is a lot to like. The IBIS makes handheld at 1/8 second a reasonable choice. The sensor and processor are much improved from the XT-3 and XPRO-2. I find XT-3/XT-5 style flip-out rear screen much more useful than an XPRO-3 "flippy" screen. Going from XPRO-1 & XPRO-2 and XT-3 & XT-5 I find the bodies are comparable size-wise. In practice the XPROs are smaller and lighter to carry mostly because I tend to use XPRO with the smaller 23/f2 and a 50/f2 "fujicrons"... the XT3 and XT5 are for the larger and heavier 16/1.4, 16-55/f2.8 and 90/f2 lenses.

I am hopeful that Fuji does offer an XPRO-4 in the future, and that they listen to the XPRO users like me who would line up to buy an XPRO-4 with a sensor, processor and rear screen from the XT-5 and the ORIGINAL OVF from the XPRO1 & XPRO2.
