R6ii with the best upscaling vs r5 straight out of camera

I’m close to deciding between the R6ii and the r5.  Each has pros and cons for me.

One of these factors is print size.  The largest I occasionally print is 24x36.

For the same landscape scene, how would the r6 ii 24 megapixel file upscaled via topaz or photoshop compare to an R5’s straight out of camera?

I’ve been messing around with some a7iii and a7riii files trying to compare, and I’ll admit post upscaling it’s really, really tough for me to see differences.

At 24x36, the r6 ii has about 167 dpi and the r5 is 228  dpi

What do you all think?

im trying to come up with good reasons to get the r6 ii, but I’m Afraid I could regret it and this is a once in many years decision as a hobbyist

Some r6 ii pros for my use case as an fyi

1. cost of course

2. not dealing with cf express cards

3. can exposure for longer when doing Milky Way before the stars become less “pointy” with the lower megapixel sensor.  Huge Astro  landscape fan

4. Way reduced storage size

5. Latest autofocus
