Presently I have the Histogram on the rear screen. Is it possible to also view the histogram in the viewfinder? If so what are the settings.
Yes you can. Go to:
Menu
General (camera icon on top left), Tab 9
Shooting info. disp.
Viewfinder info/toggle settings
Then set either checkbox 2 or 3 (can't adjust 1) options to include the histogram by clicking on "Info Edit Screen". You can set up to two custom viewfinder settings here. Histogram, Level and Detailed Shooting Info are the choices to have show or not. You can also check/uncheck the EVF info options that it will cycle through
Use the "Info" button on the camera while looking through the EVF to toggle between them.
I have one setup with the histogram, and the third with histogram and level.
Sorry for a slight tangent but is this possible with other R cameras, R5?
I'm almost certain the R5/R6 both have the same setting. At least I recall the R5 having it when I used it. Can't say if it's the exact same menu tab or not, but should be in the same vicinity in the menu. I'm not sure about R/RP.
Thanks Gipper. Will give it a try and thanks.
