R6ii or R6i, depreciation and value, insight wanted

I’ve decided to move from the world of crops to ff and mirrorless. I’m moving from the Nikon DX-series, so quite on new turf.

The r5 would be the choice, if it weren’t so damn expensive. And putting that amount on a camera that will be updated in a couple of months doesn’t seem like a good investment. In case I want to upgrade the frame in a couple of years, I don’t want it to depreciate too much. And I need to have money left for glass.

So, that brings me to the r6:

I’ve read the reviews and discussions about the r6 and r6 mii.

In my country the best deal I have atm for the r6 mii is 3200e with the normal RF 24-105 f/4-7.1 kit lens. I was initially going for that one. But then I got an offer for the r6 mi with the better RF 24-105 f/4 L lens of 2700e. I will need a all round lens, but would the older r6 be a silly investment when the new has just come out? The deal seems good.

You who have upgraded and had both, how much of an improvement is the mii over the mi in real life? How much of a after market value drop should I be waiting for of a r6 the following 2 years (before the miii will come out)?

The dslr:s had a model-life of quite a few years, but now also Canon seems to move to a quicker pace of renewing their line up every 2-3 years, it seems.

I will be using the camera as an all round camera, planning on investing in decent rf -glass (getting a telezoom for birds, and a wide lens for scenery and indoors in first hand).
