Does the R6 EVF resolution change/drop?

I'm kinda making the rounds in  the mirrorless forums trying to get some info to help me make a better a decision here, seems like like all have their ups and downs.

So, what I'm curious about is if the R6 (and/or i guess R6 II) suffers any resolution drop in the EVF? Like, is it always 3.68 million dots no matter what? Even with 'smooth' 120hz evf setting? And/or when servo is active and locked/tracking?

I only recently learned that, on an A7 IV for example, though it has a 3.68M dot with 120hz refresh EVF, choosing 120hz means a permanent drop in resolution (likely to 2.5 or whatever), and even when selecting high quality full 3.68M dot mode with only 60hz refresh, the resolution drops when afc is engaged.

Trying to figure out all the fine print details that the spec sheets won't tell you haha.

Thanks all!
