I think I’m torn between the m200 & the m50 mark ii.

Decisions, decisions…

Both the M200 and the M50II have just one dial, however, with the M50II you can assign a button to toggle functions of the dial.

When you're in M + auto ISO and the dial changes the aperture you can press that button so the dial changes the shutter speed. Press another time and the dial changes exposure compensation. With another press you're back at aperture again.

In AV + auto ISO you can toggle between aperture and EC.

In TV + auto ISO you can toggle between shutter speed and EC.

With the M200 you can't do that.

So with the M50 you can change your settings without taking your eye from the viewfinder using your muscle memory. The M200 doesn't allow to use your muscle memory, you'll need the back screen a whole lot more.

Like @MyM6II said, you can do that with the M200. Don't need to assign any button, it's already programmed to the "up" button to toggle between those settings in those modes.

O.k., thanks for correcting me.

The only buttons I assigned on my M200, is the "*" button to act as a focus button instead of the shutter.

The "movie record" button to show depth of field preview.

45 is more than enough, but 500.000 isn't
