Why do you think this will not help with the situation described in first post? I think this is exactly what OP problem is (and mine was).

I wasn't sure how it interacts with saving to multiple cards, but after re-reading the post the issue seems to be that it changes the 'playback' card, and this menu is for both 'record' and 'play'. So I think you're right, it could actually address the issue in the OP!

Anyway, I try to stay away from absolute statements when I'm not 100% certain, I've been pulled into waaaay too many discussions about semantics that end in flamewars. I know how the internet works nowadays
