I think I’m torn between the m200 & the m50 mark ii.

Decisions, decisions…

The M50 Mk.II "refurb" with 15-45mm kit lens and a small sling bag was recently offered on Canon USA's online outlet site for $399. ( I couldn't resist. So, I didn't  ).  If that deal isn't available now, keep an eye on the outlet site. It's sure to be listed again before long, although the price might be a bit higher.

If you get one and decide your M50 Mk.II is just too big to tote, assuming you decide quickly and it's still in pristine condition, you could sell it for at or very close to what you paid for it and pick up an m100 or m200.

I strongly suspect you would decide your M50 Mk.II is nicely compact, full-featured with better ergonomics, great IQ, and not look back.

But that's just me speculating. So, here's another option. Struggle through six to 12 months with your M50 Mk.II weighing you down, then check out the price of an m100 or m200 in like new condition at mpb.  If  your budget allows, spring for one  and when you get it, make your comparisons. Then, keep both or sell off whichever one you don't need.

I wish you the best of luck and good shooting, whatever you decide.
