Has this changed? I find it to be a pity that you either get single or 20 fps. I mean running 10 fps or 5 fps would be ideal rather than pushing that much data all the time.

You will get 20FPS with the electronic shutter no matter what multiple-shutter mode you set. So you have multiple settings that will all do the same thing.

The settings differ with the mechanical shutters, and a lower battery level will slow down the shutter.
