Canon has great EF zooms (24-70mm 2.8L II, 70-200mm 2.8L IS II and 100-400mm 4.5-5.6L IS II can recommend without hesitation, the 28-300mm 3.5-5.6L IS depends), though I do have the 85mm 1.2L and 300mm 2.8L IS primes.

Would like the 50mm 1.2L and 35mm 1.4L II primes, but unfortunately those are typically quite expensive.

Maybe the 135mm 2.0L is good too and worth having.

I can't speak to the 50 & 135 but the 135 F2 is one of those charmers that renders knock out images with a beautiful palette - razor sharp, the look, the bokeh etc - it makes a table leg look good - no kidding .

Have quite a few portrait primes from 100mm to 135mm to 180mm for my other systems, that it makes the decision for the EF 135mm 2.0L a bit difficult. Though I noticed that whoever used the 135L lens, thinks really highly of it.

If I'd bought a very expensive lens only to find I weren't too wild about it, I would probably be more inclined to sell it than to share my frustration in public.

This is not a comment on the quality of the EF 135/2.
