If low light performance is mediocre, then the camcorders you linked to PROBABLY will be WORSE than your E-M1 MK 1 because they have smaller sensors than your E-M1, and smaller sensors do WORSE in low light.

Maybe she means it is low resolution? In which case, maybe she needs / wants 4K instead of 1080p?

You mentioned that you have some prime lenses, right? Those should be sharp. (Sharper than the built in zoom lenses on a camcorder.)

BTW: Which lights are you using?

If you have a sample video posted on youtubue that shows the problems, that would be great.

Just want to make sure we help you diagnose the problem accurately before suggesting you spend a lot of money on a camera that you MIGHT not need.
