All the information regarding R7 and R5 sensor pixel density is freely available on the net. Both cameras can produce excellent moon images.

With the same main lens, the R5 with a 1.4x puts almost exactly the same number of pixels on-subject as the R7.  The R7 will have less noise, though, with the same shutter speed and pupil size.
