Yeah, I think that's the elephant in the room.

I suspect many of us who express interest may have one or two film cameras that still function and maybe we try film again or maybe not.  I've tried scanning color negatives and transparencies, and while it was OK for getting files of my old stuff, I wouldn't bother shooting color film now.

B/W is a bit different.  Some of my b/w negs have converted nicely, better than originals now and then.  There may be a market there, as b/w has always been less expensive and more approachable as regards processing than color, and good b/w has that "classic" or "historic" feel.

Anyway, like you, I can't wait to see what they come up with.
