It would improve a lot for full body shot. Really.

1) F/1. 4 is faster than F/2.

2) Sigma 30 is sharper at F/1.4 than 50 at F/2

3) You will be closer (at 30mm) when taking full body picture, which means your flash will help a lot more.

There is the inverse square law of light, so the intensity of light of your flash will fade as a square function. A lot.

So, if you are closer, there will be a lot more light from your flash at your subject.

So, yes, Sigma 30mm F/1.4 would really make a huge difference.
