Leica and Pentax are the only two photography cameras manufacturers, who still use the optical viewfinders even in their digital cameras. Leica actually never abandoned film cameras, but Pentax can easily (re)introduce a film camera.

And I am looking forward to see it! It will be definitely a master piece. Not that I would buy it, no, no. I am happy with the digital photography! 40 years devoted to the film photography was enough for me .

What is a "Masterpiece"?, I doubt Pentax has the resources to do a Masterpiece, it will be an average film camera.

I also do not believe all the talk in this thread of "young people" and "good niche market" for Pentax. 100 customers on this planet are a marktet - OK, but will this be profitable for Pentax. I doubt.

Even Nikon has stopped producing their "Masterpiece" F6 in the end of 2020. What can Pentax offer as a better or more successful camera than a F6?
