I am using an R5 which I have used for slightly over a year. I like it very much. It may be my age, but the number of adjustments is daunting and difficult to learn.

Having been a 2 camera shooter for some time now I miss the convenience of having at least 2 lenses ready to use at any time. This means acquiring another R camera body. I am an old retired guy and can't find another R5 in my budget. So... I am looking for a $1200 or less EOS to supplement my collection,

Today's newspaper has an ad for an EOS R10 at $899.00.

Should I give this one a closer look? Haven't been able to find any credible reviews this morning yet.

TIA!

Used the R10 for a few months before I eventually sold it to buy an R7. It's less about the R10 - which is a fantastic camera. It's because of IBIS, 32mp and that it uses a sturdier battery.

During the time I used the R10, I must say it's the best cropped sensor camera in such price range. The size is deceiving considering its capability.

However, if you want same batteries and virtually same handling, the R7 is a better match with your R5.
