Re: Pentax Film Project

JL Savignol took the characters right outta' my keyboard with his turntable / film analogy. I think that a new film camera will appeal to the curious, the purists and people who have the extra $$ to buy something new to play around with. The return to film for Pentax at least piqued my interest although I may not have the patience that I once did when film was the only option. I certainly have some excellent prime lenses to slap onto one. They'd probably suck me in if they'd reissue the MX as I drooled over that one but didn't have the funds. The one caveat - and it could have been mentioned in previous comments - would be the cost and availability of film. If the camera isn't priced right and a roll of film costs you $15.00 and the developing another $15.00 (I don't even know what those costs are now), it may be over before it begins. Leica owners probably don't fret about such things. Maybe Pentax needs to wade into the film production business was well.
