I think the weather sealing on this camera alone is worth it. My only issue is that if you do a lot of serious hiking in the summer and like to wear the camera around your body, the viewfinder tends to repeatedly stab you in the gut. My favourite thing about this camera is that there is absolutely no point doing any raw workflow because it’s a Canon I.e. the jpegs are almost always perfect. You’ll find a lot of trolls saying that this camera’s lens is “soft”… but it’s not soft at all. It isn’t very sharp… but that’s not what you want in a lens anyway - trust me.

Macro mode - I could not do this with my Leica or Nikon unless I got a dedicated macro lens

(Camera’s Panorama mode) Great dynamic range detail and Canon image processing! You could not get this level of micro contrast on a 4/3 sensor
