If you are a long time customer, you know it takes time for DxO to support new camera models.

I could last week open raw files from R6 II in darktable.

Not really, I've had the same Nikon gear for ages, so I never had to experience this.

I’m processing my R6ii RAWs with DPP for now, until DxO releases their profile. I’d recommend going to Photolab 6 when you can. Deep Prime is wonderful.

After reviewing Adobe's licensing and weird versioning for Lightroom, I think I will stick with DxO PhotoLab, and upgrade to 6 with support comes out, or wait for a Boxing Day sale. I'll try DPP for the time being maybe shoot RAW + JPEG for the time being and come back to process the RAWs when needed...

I'm on PhotoLab 5, waiting for PhotoLab 7, thinking that support for the R6 II may well come to v5 as well (not that I'll need it). Now that we're past Black Friday, you can afford to wait to see if that happens before splashing out on v6. Their lens support doesn't seem to depend on the version of the program, but it was a few versions along before they supported corrections for EF lens on EOS M cameras.

Support will not be available for PL5. On the DXO site it says R6 II RAW support for both PL6 and PureRaw 2 next month.

Personally I'm not bothered, as PL 7 will be out before I can afford an R5 II...
