If the full frame Foveon is not feasible, let's have an APS-C implementation, but let it be Foveon.

… Exactly. The FF venture is a great waste of time and capital. No one can tell the difference in a FF image vs an APC.

No one?

FF is a microscopic advantage at much greater expense to the consumer for basically no reason.

2.3X the resolution is well above the microscopic difference threshold. The interchangeable lens digital camera market is dominated by full frame offerings.

No it isn't. Hell, Fuji doesn't even make a full-frame camera. Neither does Olympus. Nikon makes at least two mirrorless APS-C cameras, while Sony makes like three or four. None of Panasonic's m4/3 system cameras are full-frame, of course, and Panasonic makes more m4/3 models than L mount models.

Full-frame is definitely the 800 lb gorilla in the room, for sure.

Canon recently introduced two cameras that are APS-C.
