So I got an M200, but I didn't really need the M200.
I already have the M3.
I'm more interested in the 15-45mm kit lens that came bundled with the M200.
But I figured that "hey, the lens itself cost 1/3 the whole kit, might as well just get the kit".
Afterall, you get an M200 too with it.
Total damage about $355.
Of course you "need" the M200. 😄
The M200 is a much better camera than the M3. Maybe not in ergonomics, but it has much better AF and is faster in operation because of the newer prosessor.
Also the M3 has a focus frame the size of Africa while the M200 has the "spot focus" frame the size of a neutron. (Yes, a little exaggeration here , but it feels almost like that.)
The colors are to me also much better (but that is of course very subjective).
I forgot to add:
You should also add the EF-M 22mm f/2, if you don't already own it. It's the perfect match for the M200 IMO.
(Refurbs for $119.00 @ usa.canon.com right now.)
Yes definitely on the wish list but waiting for a price drop. We don't get such deals where I'm at, it's double the price here.
