EOS R6II DPReview

Some time ago a discussion occured where the use of crop mode (was a R5) didn't benefit rolling shutter. I said we have been using the crop mode for this benefit.

So this is a quote from the just released review

"In terms of rolling shutter, the EOS R6 II does very well, posting comfortably sub-20ms numbers for its oversampled full-width capture and circa-10ms numbers from its 1.6x cropped region.

60p  23.98p

Full-width 15.2ms16.9ms

1.6x crop region 9.5ms10.5ms"

Earlier it also mentions

"In terms of rolling shutter, we measured it as 18ms (1/56 sec). This isn't especially fast when compared to the likes of the Sony a9 (1/150 sec),"

So, if I understand correctly we can reduce rolling shutter in certain video modes compared to the 18ms in high speed still shooting.
