So I got an M200, but I didn't really need the M200.

I already have the M3.

I'm more interested in the 15-45mm kit lens that came bundled with the M200.

But I figured that "hey, the lens itself cost 1/3 the whole kit, might as well just get the kit".

Afterall, you get an M200 too with it.

Total damage about $355.

I don't really understand the problem.

Obviously, you've got a capable camera (M200) with a - depending on the copy variations - probably good standard lens. Both for a very competitive price.

To my mind, the M200 will offer better AF, better IQ and a better color rendering than your M3. At least, this is my experience, since I tested the M3 before my M6, and I have a M100 as a second body.

Not really a problem really, I'm just lamenting the fact I was looking for a lens and got a whole kit bundle instead.

And yes as you pointed out, I'm looking forward to the M200.

The M series appeals to me due to its form factor.
