I don't have the experience with both lens to make a definitive comment but I have researched that lens and have the RF on the R7. Given the quality of the images of the RF and it's lightness, compactness, AF speed, stabilisation and price it is hard to see why that wouldn't be the choice in this era. I decided that I avoid taking images in the rain if I possibly can and even then can protect it well enough and I doubt I would use it in a very dusty environment. I think I have learnt to live with the 1 stop slower because with modern sensors and superb PP software compared to just 5 years ago higher ISO more than compensates for that. So it just came down to Bokeh, which I think the RF would most likely lose out to the older lens.
