R7 + 70-200/F4, high ISO and other questions

Hi. I currently use a D7200 with 70-200/2.8 (giving me about 300mm FF FOV) for dance events under stage lighting. Moving to ML, I am considering all APSC options.

One of my choices is to get an R7 with RF 70-200/F4 (I know F2.8 would be ideal but it's twice the cost; too much for hobby). This is my most important use case. I am also trying to keep this kit lighter than my current setup. Otherwise, my m43 setups serves all my other purposes.

With 70-200/2.8 zoom the ISO often goes up to 6400 to get decent shutter speeds. With an F4 lens, that would jump up to 12800.

My question for those using R7 is, do you often use ISO up to 12800 and how easily do the images clean up with DXO or other s/w for photos of people?

Do you use face/eye detection for fast moving people and do you find it reliable?

Does anyone have experience with both R7 and D7200 and can you share your thoughts on how the IQ compares between the two?

How well does R7 do when the stage lighting is unpredictable? Sometimes it is floodlights, sometimes colored lights, sometimes LED, etc. I get consistent results with my D7200 but not so much with GH5M2.

The purpose of my post is to understand the pros and cons of R7 in this scenario, from those who have relative experience. Not to find alternatives.

Thanks.

PS: Some background because alternatives always come up.

I have ruled out FF because: (1) my current APSC setup gives sufficient IQ and I don't need bigger gear; and (2) I use the 200 to 300mm FF FOV a lot, which I'll lose with FF.

For that second reason, and looking at cameras with dual card slots, R7 and Fuji come out as the only two ML APSC options. I ruled out Fuji because their tele zoom only goes to 140mm. Using a DSLR 70-200/2.8 on Fuji with adapter would be too heavy.

I am currently evaluating a GH5M2 with 40-150/2.8, which is promising in some ways but I'm not 100% convinced... still under evaluation.
