I did a shutter shock test as described in this 2014 post EM1 shuter shock measurment: Micro Four Thirds Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review (dpreview.com).

I photographed a free running trace running at 5 mSec per division with 1/60 mechanical shutter speed hand-held at 12 feet distance. The lens was the 35 mm f/2 Fujinon. One photo is with IS ON (the sharper one) and on with IS OFF. Both crops are about 400 pixels high.
To me it looks like the X-T5 has no shutter shock issues.

Nand.

Not sure that's conclusive. Shutter shock impacting IS can occur either with IS on or off.  The sensor is not mechanically locked down and is still susceptible to some vibration. Do a test with and without E shutter. I cannot recall the worst shutter speed for it, but 1/125 might isolate it a bit more to reduce the probability of user motion blur.
