For EVFs I didn't find any information. But EVFs being perfect probably there is no problem ( ).

Yes, the duration between normal image (pixels on) and black image (pixels off) is used to dim the display.

If the EVF is being dimmed to match ambient low lighting, the duration between on and off would increase and EVF flicker should become more obvious in low light.

If that is the reason for EVF flicker..
