I have never thought of a budget. I subose around £600 to £800 possibly a bit more if it is good, but I don't want to have to throw away Thousands on all my extra lenzes and external flashes. This is what happened with the Sony Alpha series. Can't remeber what the following series was, but it did not support my lenzes. Do Canon cameras change their fittings every time they come out with a new model.

As for cost. If I can be guarenteed that I would not loose lenses, I would want to get additional ones 70 - 300mm, higher if possible and fish eye. External flashes possibly 2 of. I had a programmable plug in that could be set to take any number of picturtes with an initial delay and a delay between each one. I liked that one alot.

Pablo,

When I wanted to upgrade my camera, I bought a Canon T8i, and am very happy with it.

I do not know what kind of mount your Sony camera used, so I don't know if the lenses you have will work with the Canon EF or ED/S mount; but you can get a T8i body only for $749.00.

B&H Photo sells them (that's where I bought mine).

Like I said earlier, there are literally dozens and dozens of E and EF/S lenses out there. The EF lens mount was introduced in 1987, and EF/S mount was introduced in 2003. Most Canon Rebel cameras will use both.

PS: One of the T8i's Scene Modes is Fisheye - so you wouldn't necessarily have to buy a special lens.

It also has a feature that lets you take a number of continuous pictures with a delay between each picture (I can't remember if it is a 2 second delay, or a 10 second delay).
