As I understand the R3 offers no (or short) delay and no blackout. But I am not sure I understood this right.

The R3 has no blackout during a burst when using the electronic shutter. After a burst it continues to show the scene you are pointing the camera and lens at - just like a DSLR - assuming you have Image Review switched off as I do.

As with many things in life, with EVFs it’s best to try one to see if you like it!
