Yes it is the H2 but can one make an assumption that the 2 cams have more than just an Identical sensor? I would imagine the AF system, etc. would be the same but maybe I am wrong.

I shot the entire day, hand held ,AF-S, and the cam did not miss focus at all. What is perplexing is there are so many reports about the T5's AF by so many , that it cannot be explained away by bad technique. Are the critical components of the H2 different from the T5? I don't know. What I do know is the image I got below, and you can click on the original image for the full res version, is about as sharp and natural as one would want. I wonder whether or not anyone out there is getting this kind of resolution and result? A forum is generally a place to ask questions about gear and how to better use that gear. Are we seeing a quality control issue? All I can say is, Hmm?

I have better images but this one was more difficult to get sharpness with the wide DOF. Processed from RAW. Others are available.

Did you do anything to this file? Asking because the wires around that tower on the right look 'over sharpened' when peeping?

It was processed from RAW and final sharpening done with Topaz Sharpen AI.  Lens copy variation and/or distortion correction may be at play here making the sharpening towards the edge of the frame look a little odd.  However that is something that does not stand out to me.
