Almost all my videos are short wildlife videos, mostly of birds, and I like to shoot mostly in 4K 60fps. This provides two advantages for what I'm trying to do.

The first advantage is that I can slow down any part or parts of the video for an artistic slow motion effect (see video below).

The second is that I can extend the reach of my 500mm lens by 2x by shooting in 4K and editing the footage on a 1080p timeline. I upload all my videos in 1080p resolution because so few of my Flickr friends and family have 4K monitors.

And as was mentioned by another person, at 60fps you get a smoother less choppy look in the footage that at 24p, especially in certain types of action.

In this video which was shot in 4K 60p you can see the impact of slow motion suddenly applied to certain parts of the video highlighting the graceful wing movements of the geese.
