RF 400mm f/2.8 with 1.4X & 2X Extenders

Does anyone have first-hand experience using the new RF 400mm f/2.8 with both of the extenders?

After 20 years in photography, I am finally ready to buy a "Big White" lens.

I was 99% certain it would be the RF 600mm f/4

But recently, as I am getting closer to the purchase, I've started to think basically having a 400mm f/2.8, 560mm f/4.0, and a 800mm f/5.6 by having both extenders might be the best choice.......IF image quality is ok.

I've never been happy with 2X extenders on any lens I've ever tried over the years. But thinking maybe there have been improvements with the new RF models?

I had a 1.4X on my EF 100-400mm and was 100% completely satisfied with the image quality, I never took the extender off that lens.

Another bonus buying the 400mm f/2.8 over the 600mm f/4 would also be carrying around a smaller and lighter lens. But if using the 400 with the 2X extender produces such a huge hit on image quality, then I will most likely go with 600 f/4.

Thanks for everyones input in advance, it is much appreciated.
