What am I doing wrong with Procapture

Hi all,

did again some test shots with pro capture this afternoon but unfortunately I struggle to get good results. I klindly ask you to give me some hints what i could do wrong.

Gear: OM-1 + 300mm F4

Mode: ProCapSH2 50fps

CAF, subject detection ON, CAF sensitivy +2, AF-Scanner ON

The following shots has been taken with 1/4000 at F4 and ISO 6400. I know this is quite high but the issues remain also with less ISO. Its clear that birds flying directly to the photographer are a challenge for the AF but the problem is that if the bird is taking off even in a bit less then 90 degrees from me, the focus is already lost immediately. It happens also with other birds where the eye does seperate much more. The files are unedited raws coverted to jpeg. What am I doing wrong, what can i try next, or do I ask to much of the OM-1?

Starting point - subject detection is working correctly, eye detected.

Second shot - focus on eye already lost - branch still sharp

Third shot - only the branch sharp - seems like focus is not moving at all

4th shot - eye clearly in sun but not detected - focus still an branch

5th shot - focus nailed on branch

10th shot - focus on branch...
