I think if a camera confirms focus on one eye through a green box, a beep, or whatever other means, then one expects to find that the shot is focused there. If we go by some of the reviews and comments here and on YouTube, that's not what happens in some situations.

If eventually it is established that this is how this *newly released* ((because that's what it is in case you're forgetting) camera model and AF system behave some times, the sooner we know, the better.

From then on, your argument "I can't expect the camera to do things it can't" will be relevant to this conversation. Right now, with a camera that's been 1-2 months in the market, it isn't, I'm sorry to say.
