I like my m6 mkii and can find value in the Raw Burst, but getting the images into my workflow is VERY painful...

I get that Canon want us to use DPP (which I never did) but the DPP burst tool only letting me save a single image at a time (out of a burst of over 50) is almost unusable...

New to using DPP, but is there really not a better way to just extract "all" images? THanks for the help..

an old thread, but are there updates on how to make this e-shutter raw burst implementation and processing work better?

This issues has been nagging me since I got the M6ii 3 years ago.
Back then, I figured it was going to be resolved eventually cos it is painful to extract, but even to this day none of the latest R cameras has a way to extract to single or jpeg files from the burst roll. I also was hoping for third party software to help but nothing so far AFAIK.

Now, given the smaller file size than separate files would amount for, I suspect Canon is using a Raw movie format here, probably the same they use in their high end video cameras.
If that is so, a simple crack would do the trick, like changing certain tags within the file or even changing the file name extension.
