Need advice for capturing sunset rocket launch (long exposure)

Tomorrow night a Falcon 9 is scheduled to launch at 5:27 PM and the sun sets at 5:32 PM.  Challenging conditions at least for me.

The last time I attempted this I calculated wrong and got nothing but black on my camera... I used too many stops of ND filters... even though I had taken test shots the day before.

The Sun will be setting behind me, but I'm used to shooting these long exposures in total darkness.  Could anyone advise me of how to get it right for a  two-minute exposure 130 miles away ?
