Image quality is behind larger sensor cameras comment...

As usual DPR is critical of M43 sensor cameras in its Best Camera for reviews making its usual point of stating for the OM5 as one example:

  • Image quality is behind larger sensor cameras

...but then isn't compelled to point that out for even smaller sensor cameras such as the Sony RX100 in the same comparison. Quote: "built around a comparatively large Type 1 (13.2 x 8.8mm) Stacked CMOS sensor, that delivers excellent image quality"

I wish DPR would give up its anti M43 sensor bias once and for all. Yes, the larger sensors will have better IQ if you look close enough, but what I don't get is their constant picking on it when the vast majority of people wouldn't be able to reliably differentiate them in a blind side-by-side comparison, and to make matter worse, don't see that as an issue with even smaller sensors. Time to stop picking on the little M43 guy DPR.

Rant over!
