R6 1-point AF frustration
R6 1-point AF frustration

Actually, I'm finding this same issue with Spot AF, Expand AF, and Zone AF modes, ie. anything other than the Face+Tracking AF mode. So let's use 1-point AF as an example. I set this and want the focus to stick just on whatever lies within that selected point, but then as I press to focus (I use the back AF-ON button), all the little small blue AF squares appear OUTSIDE of this area and so I lose focus of the subject I want to continually auto-focus on inside the white AF point that I selected. What setting do I have wrong here? Or better yet, is there a setting that will keep continuous AF inside JUST the AF point I've selected? Let me know if this doesn't make sense.
