EF zoom on R5 won't stop IS

I just bought an R5 and still reading the manual and getting acquainted.

I attached my trusty old EF 70-200 IS f4 via Canon adapter. It focuses just as good if not better than with my former 5DII. However, when I set the IS to on, immediately a noise just like the one from the IS mechanism starts. It won't stop back untill I turn the lens IS switch off. This happens without me pushing the camera shutter button half way.

Is this normal on the R5? Or my lens got this malfunction during the 5 year storage?

Also when I switch the camera off, just before shutting down, the 70-200 focus moves to infinty, then the camera shuts off completely. If I recall well, none of these things took event with my ex 5DII.

One more observation:

I've been many times to the whole R5 screen menu and I can't find an IBIS control. Is IBIS always on?

TIA for help and comments.

Edu
