Big Buck
12

I had snuck up to this big Buck, while he had his head down, slightly behind a berm. When he lifted his head and I started shooting, it was obvious that I had set up almost too close... considering he was a BIG dude, and I was shooting at 1120mm. I took a burst of about 20 shots before he spooked and took off. Some just barely chopped the tip of his horns. A few more were cut off too close to his chin. So, while processing, I got the idea to pick the shot which chopped his horns the most (for space under his chin) and the shot which put his chin closest to the bottom of the frame, for more space over his horns, and I stitched these two shots I was this able to crop the image into a fairly high MP portrait shot I think this is my best shot of a big Buck, certainly the biggest Buck, I've ever shot
