Canon R7 rolling shutter in video mode?
Canon R7 rolling shutter in video mode?
It seems almost impossible to find any good information on Canon EOS R7 rolling shutter let alone how it performs in video and by that I mean tests in milliseconds.
I can only find unverified tests here and there regarding its sensor readout and the only information so far is:
2160p FINE - 31ms
2160p LINESKIP - 14,5ms (according to Jordan at DPReview)
My question is if anyone else have any better source like what the rolling shutter is between 30p and 60p in line skipped mode or what the rolling shutter is in crop mode.
Another thing I see no one mention either is how good is line skipped 4k when downsampled manually to 1080p compare to 4k FINE downsampled.

Chris and Jordan are enjoying some well deserved time off this week, so we're taking a trip in the wayback machine to revisit the launch of Canon's original full-frame mirrorless camera, the EOS R. Give it a watch to see how far Canon's mirrorless line has come.
The a7R V is the fifth iteration of Sony's high-end, high-res full-frame mirrorless camera. The new 60MP Mark IV, gains advanced AF, focus stacking and a new rear screen arrangement. We think it excels at stills.

Ultra-wide to short telephoto?! The Sony FE 20-70mm F4 G has a very useful focal range, so we took it to the mountains to see how it performs.
After weeks with a production Sony a7R V, Chris and Jordan present their final conclusions.
