I saw a review today that the R6II has selectable (well kinda) burst speeds in eshutter, 40,20,and 5 FPS respectively.

I haven't heard anyone else talking about this, anyone confirm? Aside from 20MP being on the low side for me, the "all or nothing" rate on my R6 (20FPS or single shot) is the only major complaint I had, so that's nice to finally see. I never need 20FPS in eshutter, as it's mostly quiet moments to not disturb the family, not wildlife, so I've just been mashing the shutter release in single shot on my R6.

Not enough to make me want to upgrade yet, (mkIII?) But I'd welcome that change in a firmware update for sure!

The R7 has 30, 15, 5, ss which I use and enjoy. I prefer 15fps more than 30fps. I have hoping we would get a firmware update for R5 to do this same thing for 20,10,5 fps. However, if the R5II is coming out in the middle of next year I think we may not get this firmware update for variable ES variable fps or the removal of the video 29:59 timer.
