Just ordered a refurbished M50 II with the 15-45 lens during the cyber Monday sale. A few questions for you experienced Canon M users.
1. How long does it take for Canon to ship?
2. Is the 18-55 lens any better than the 15-45?
3. Anyone use the 28 macro as your main lens for everyday shooting?
4. Seems like the 11-22 zoom has a great reputation for sharpness. Is it a huge improvement over the 15-45?
5. Is there an adapter for Fuji XF lenses to Canon M mount?
I'm retired and on a budget so trying to figure out what to get. Moving out of the Fuji system--not a pro and don't need that much money tied up in photography equipment.
Thanks for your help--I've been reading a bunch of threads in the Canon M forum.
I live in NM and shoot a lot of landscapes, sunsets, mesas, horses, pets, people.
Thanks for the info.
11-22 would be the top choice for landscapes, sunsets, mesas. 15-45 is very useful (if you get a good copy) for landscapes, groups, and even individuals. 18-55 is Very sharp (my copy is), though not as wide. I'd rather have a zoom for everyday shooting than a prime.
The EF-M primes (16, 22, 28, 32, 56) are all excellent. The 32 is great for people. The Sigma 56 will give you more separation and reach.
The EF-S 55-250 would give you telephoto (you'd need an EF to EF-M adapter), and this lens is at an unbelievably low price of $99 at the Canon Refurbished Store right now...
