Kestrel Devouring Dragonflies

I was at Sandy Wool Lake in Ed Levin Park in Milpitas, California a few weeks ago where we saw a kestrel on top of a tree, eating a dragonfly. After it finished one, it disappeared and a couple of seconds later, it was back with another one.

This was the only kestrel I can recall that wasn't skittish.

I think kestrels and red shouldered hawks are the most beautiful raptors.
