Printing with an Apple Studio Display

I am considering going back to home printing, for fun. (not looking for gallery quality images)  Is anyone doing so with an Apple Studio Display, and perhaps a Canon Pro-200 or 300.  If you are, how do you have your Apple audio Display setup? And have you done a calibration? I have read that calibrating (like using my ColorMunki) does not actually change the hardware setting on the Apple Display, but rather "sits on top" of the selected preset in the DIPLAY menu. Can you print well JUST using one of the built in settings? If so, which one... P3-600nits, P3-D65, other?

Thanks
