The problem with GFX medium format
5

I recently purchased the X-T5. Paired with the newer LM primes it’s a really capable camera.

BUT… it can’t hold a candle to my GFX50SII. They’re not even in the same orbit. The 40mpx out of the aspc still “feels” like the old 26mpx output from last generation. Noise performance is not even close. Colour depth and overall tonality is so much better on the GFX.

Same goes for the GF80 compared to the XF33mm. Sharpness and rendering isn’t even close. The GF80 at 3 times the prices is easily 3 times the value.

I know I didn’t “waste” money on the X-T5, but I’ve got used to expecting more.

Am I spoilt?
