After enjoying a true Thanksgiving feast my wife prepared, friend Eric and I decided if there was any hope of enjoying dessert later, we needed to do some serious walking/hiking. The hour was late and the sun was sinking low on the horizon as we decided to quickly head to Rockview Park which would provide some good walking, climbing and perhaps a photo or two.

We were surprised to find a rock climber on an outcropping of rock just above the small amphitheater. I brought my Canon M6 II with the 22mm pancake lens, wishing I had a longer lens. I was also surprised at the amount of water flowing in the Mojave River. I have also included a photo of good friend, Eric.

This is a great shot!

I think 22mm was perfect for this. A long tele was ideal here, but not for zooming on the man. Ideal for the exact same frame but with a moon at its sky. And preferably a howling wolf instead of the man.

Also I like that beautiful built-in photo frame very much!

Well done
